OUR LIFESTYLE CENTRES
With lifestyle centres for active independent retirees as well as a variety of support facilities and 24-hour care facilities for frail elderly, Residentia has been a well-known landmark for 67 years, boasting 13 retirement resorts across South Africa.
Founded in 1957 in Pretoria South Africa by the Reformed Church as the “Gereformeerde Stigting” (Reformed Foundation) and now known as Residentia it has grown to a large organisation with 14 Senior Lifestyle Centres countrywide.
Facilities include retirements resorts, old age homes, frail care centres, self service centres and now also home base care as well as a child care centre and seaside camp site for children. Residentia is also involved with various community projects

The reality is, getting older also means becoming more vulnerable and that most of us will need medical support at some point.
Most of our retirement resorts have a 24-hour care unit and residents, as well as their loved ones, can have the peace of mind that the services are within reach.
The following services are offered from the care unit:
With the many lifestyle facilities provided at Residentia, active residents get to enjoy a positive living space where they can participate in a variety of social and recreational activities.
A service centre with a recreation hall for social activities such as bible-study, handicrafts and music performances are available and take place regularly.
Social activities are arranged based on resident interest and hobbies.
The resorts also have several parks and open spaces where residents can relax, admire the native plants & enjoy the rich birdlife of the area.
Our lifestyle centres house a variety of support facilities and services to make the lives of our residents as convenient and comfortable as possible. With these facilities on-site, there’s no need for residents to travel outside the centre to access them.
