Discover Residentia Wilgerus, a charming care home set in a quiet location on the Wilge River banks in the Free State.
You’ll feel right at home, with our lovely outdoor area surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, tall trees and flowering shrubs. There is a pathway between garden areas and a courtyard, providing an attractive place to take a stroll. For those with a green thumb, there are growing veggie patches and raised flower beds.
Inside, you will find friendly communal areas complete with tasteful decorations to create warm and welcoming spaces.
We have a library with wall-length bookshelf, a tuck shop & an activity room.
You can even get pampered in our in-house hair salon. If you are looking for a more tranquil space, residents can also enjoy the cosy living area looking out into the courtyard.

We offer a selection of bachelor, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, allowing the freedom to live with self-sufficiency.
Our one-bedroom and two-room units are designed to provide additional support, including household services, food service, and various activities.
We are dedicated to fostering a homely atmosphere enriched with a wide array of services to ensure the well-being of our residents.
We are privileged to have immediate access to a comprehensive range of healthcare providers, pharmacies, social workers, and various shopping options.
The spiritual needs of our community are also catered for with a diverse selection of church denominations nearby.
Embracing a holistic view of health, we actively promote a Total Wellness approach, offering our residents a full schedule of
engaging activities and social events to enrich their daily lives.

Most of our retirement resorts have a 24-hour care unit and residents, as well as their loved ones, can have the peace of mind that the services are within reach.

With the many lifestyle facilities provided at Residentia, active residents get to enjoy a positive living space where they can participate in a variety of social and recreational activities.
A service centre with a recreation hall for social activities such as bible-study, handicrafts and music performances are available and take place regularly.
Social activities are arranged based on resident interest and hobbies.
The resorts also have several parks and open spaces where residents can relax, admire the native plants & enjoy the rich birdlife of the area.
Our lifestyle centres house a variety of support facilities and services to make the lives of our residents as convenient and comfortable as possible. With these facilities on-site, there’s no need for residents to travel outside the centre to access them.
